The in-ear monitors under $30 are listed in no particular order, and each IEM has its pros and cons, but are better than others in most cases. Here are the best options to pick:
Best In-Ear Monitors Under $30
1. Linsoul QKZ x HBB
The QKZ x HBB is a collaboration between Hawaiian Bad Boy and QKZ. Equipped with 10mm titanium-coated diaphragm drivers, priced under $30.
The QKZ x HBB has a great design, dynamic and immersive sound, great bass response, rich and full vocals, and great soundstage.
However, the bass can be a bit overpowered, and tuning can be a bit difficult for those who prefer a neutral tone, rich detail, or professional sound.
2. MOONDROP Chu
The best IEM so far, especially for those familiar with Moondrop’s own tuning.
The Moondrop Chu features a 10mm nano-crystal-coated composite dynamic driver with a titanium-coated diaphragm, and is priced at less than $30.
Comes with a metal shell and solid construction, great tone and timbre, great value for money, and comes with Moondrop spring eartips (only $13).
3. TinHiFi C2 Mech Warrior
A new IEM from TinHiFi. The C2 Mech Warrior features a 10mm composite dynamic driver and is priced at around $28. If you want to know more about the TinHiFi C2, check out my review.
It has a metal shell and solid construction, an attractive and fun sound signature, strong and balanced bass, clear highs, and excellent technical skills.
4. TANCHJIM Tanya
The Tanchjim Tanya is another interesting budget IEM. It features a 7mm micro dynamic driver and a rare bullet shape these days. It usually sells for under $25.
With the well-reproduced midrange, non-fatiguing highs, great soundstage, and organic tonality.
However, it lacks dynamics and resolution, busy music tracks can sound a bit cluttered, and the detachable cable may be a deal-breaker for some.
5. 7Hz Salnotes Zero
The 7Hz Salnotes Zero is another well-received IEM. It features a 10mm dynamic driver and a metal composite diaphragm. With a natural tone, strong bass, great treble extension, and great value for money.
However some sometimes the iem tuning can be tiring to use for long periods of time, lack of weight, and the amount of bass may ruin the purchase for some users.
